Spider

A giant argiope spider has made a web in our backyard! I saw the tiny male off to the side, but is impossible to see in this picture. I attached another better example as mine was very hard to photo due to background. It is a bit creepy when you come upon one of these, but they are harmless and very interesting to watch.

  2. We love these. Last year one was attached to our door and the web would move as we open and closed the door. They get so big. I enjoyed your lovely site and look forward to following it.

  3. Yikes! I can't help it, but I'm so not a spider person - still I admit, it is very interesting spider to look at. Glad to hear it is harmless!

  5. These spiders are beautiful. I don't mind coming across one of these in my garden. Unfortunately I have also found many black widows this year, which I am not very fond of. I look forward to following your homeschool year as we do the same!
