Gnomes in my home!

We did our first ever Waldorf Gnome project. This was so much fun! It takes a bit of trial and error, but once you figure it out, it goes fast. I used this tutorial that was very helpful. My girls did their own King and Queen Gnomes out of wooden clothespins. They were a bit harder to do than my Valentine Gnome, due to the smaller head and taller dimensions, but they were determined to make them out of the clothespins! Isn't she sweet! She is on our nature table already to spread her love for Valentine's Day.

  2. Very cute! We love gnomes in our home, too. In fact yesterday the gnomes, fairies, and pixies were all married by Kayla. :)

  3. Very cute. I like the idea of using clothes pins for the bodies. Glad our tutorial was helpful.

We would like to invite you to share your Valentine gnome on our Flickr group at WeeFolkArt.com.

  4. Oh, so cute! Isn't it an incredible feeling watching your children create something they are proud of? And I'm delighted our pattern was an inspiration to you :) I would also like to encourage you to share your Valentine gnomes at Wee Folk Art. We LOVE it when people share their versions of our patterns.
